  THE NEXT FULL PARISH MEETING
 

The Houghton and Wyton Monthly Parish Meeting, involving the full committee, is normally held on the first Wednesday of the month at 8pm at the Houghton & Wyton Memorial Hall in the village.

The Wyton on the Hill Ward (sub committee) meeting is normally held on the second wednesday of the month at 8pm at the Wyton on the Hill Primary School.

  REPLACEMENT TO THE VANDALISED BENCH
  Status: Ongoing
After a bench in the Durham Way play park was recently vandalised a replacement bench has been donated and MITIE Scotgate have agreed to install it.
       
  NEW BUS SHELTERS
  Status: One Constructed
The intention is to install two bus shelters with the help of Huntingdon District Council at the two existing bus stop sites on Sawtry Way. The proposed date is 19th May 2008 to start installation of two enclosed bus shelters.
       
  DOUBLE ROAD HUMPS AT THE ESTATE ENTRANCE
  Status: No action.
At the current moment there no intention in the removal of one or both of these humps, not at least until the road is adopted by Cambridgeshire County Council.

  • Don't let your pets foul footpaths and playpark.
  • Encourage the younger family members to respect the community.
  • Keep your speed down on the roads especially around the school.
  • Use one way streets properly.
  • Park sensibly. Not blocking the road.
