We live in the cul de sac on somerset road and have to pay into a sinking fund ontop of our council tax to have the trees, grass and beds looked after ontop of other things. Everyday we have young children playing on the greens which is fine but they are destroying the trees and plants, theres rubbish everywhere and broken bikes. Theres 3 parks within a few hundred metres of these kids houses, why should we have to put up with the noise and mess when it's not a park for them to play in. We in this cul de sac have been in these houses since 2001 and within the last few years this area has gone down hill, so much so that trying to sell our house, we have had people even decline to come and look at the property after driving down the road to see what it's like and found cars and kids everywhere. The kids run across the road without looking and on more than one occasion has run out infront of my car and even at 20 mph, they were lucky i didn't hit them. There parents have no interest in them hence why they causing havoc on the beds. We are all sick of it but have nowhere to go with this.

If you know where the kids are from then go straight to HHP who own the majority of the houses on somerset road and they will issue letters to the whole street about what is going on as this has recently happened up Durham way as people have been complaining about young children playing in the roads and on other people gardens
