Double yellow lines are needed for the bend that is situated at the start of Norfolk Road (near the old military dome, Camp fence). This bend is lethal it is very narrow, blind and cars are parked half on and half off making it even narrower.

I noticed only a few weeks back signs of an accident properly from a car hitting one of the stationary vehicles!

DM,

Ref' double yellow lines on the bend on Norfolk.  The lines and the 20 MPH signage was installed at the behest of the Steering Committee.  The Steering Committee represents the views of all the 175 residents that are part of the Wyton residents Management Co Ltd.  The traffic calming, which include the painting of the 20 MPH signs and the double yellow lines was paid for by the residents.  If you have any constructive comments please get in touch with the Steering Committee.  We are really interested in your comments.  You can contact the Steering Committee by emailing me on: chrisbell415@yahoo.co.uk

I think you may have the wrong end of the stick here :-) i meen the signs etc are good but still residents are speeding along with taxies pizza deliveries etc. i see cars lorries vans speeding so fast some times that you can hear the clunk as the car goes over the speed bump over at the end of norfolk rd.
