Is
this the shape of things to come on the estate?
To most people on live on the estate this is a new phenomenon,
not to say that it didn't exist before, we are now seeing
different forms of crime which is affecting most people
on the estate in one form or another.
Now the crime is taking a more serious turn where property
is damaged, break-ins are attempted and items are stolen.
Vigilance and security are now in order. Help by keeping
a watch your neighbours property while they are away.

A
neighbourhood watch programme was attempted on the estate
about four years ago after the first lot of homes where
sold off. Crime was not at the same level so it fell on
deaf ears.
Now
there is a new initiative and local residents are encouraged
to get in contact and to get involved. There are packs with
instructions available with neighbourhood watch signs and
details on how to held meets etc. |

on how to make it a better place to live.
- Please
help keep the estate tidy.
- Don't
let your pets foul footpaths and playpark.
- Encourage
the younger family members to respect the community.
- Keep
your speed down on the roads especially around the school.

- Park
sensibly. Not blocking the road.
